Atenas Morales teaches:
Eco-printing from Scratch
Learn the art and science of eco-printing from the very beginning in this immersive three-day workshop led by Atenas Morales, founder of Scarabajo Botanical Studio. Designed for beginners and curious creatives alike, this course will guide you through every step of the botanical printing processβfrom preparing natural fibers and understanding mordants to designing, bundling, steaming, and revealing your own one-of-a-kind botanical textile.
Throughout the weekend, you'll learn the foundations of botanical printing while creating a beautiful linen panel that can be finished as either a table runner or a botanical wall hanging, depending on your personal style. This project is designed to give you both technical knowledge and a finished piece you'll be proud to display or use at home.
